A Philippine-accredited online school serving Filipino families in the Middle East has launched a scholarship program offering 50 slots to students in the UAE for the upcoming school year.
EduNova Middle East announced the “EduNova 50: A New Light Scholarship Initiative,” which will cover tuition under two of its learning programs for School Year 2026 to 2027. Forty slots are allocated under Beacon, its parent-facilitated home-based track, while the remaining 10 go to Beam, which offers live online classes with a teacher.
The institution positions itself as an alternative for Filipino families abroad who want a structured, values-based curriculum without giving up flexibility. It runs three program formats — Beacon and Beam, both online, and Bridge, which holds in-person classes at a learning center in Dubai.
Isabelle Gallagher, a homeschooling mother of four and member of the EduNova leadership team, said the tension families face when choosing their children’s schooling is something the school was built to address.
“Many parents today are doing everything they can to build a better future for their children,” Gallagher said. “But when it comes to education, it often feels like you have to choose. Between affordability and quality. Between flexibility and structure. Between what is available and what you truly believe is right for your child.”
She added that learning is most effective when it goes beyond the academic. “When parents are involved, when values are part of the conversation, and when children are given the space to grow not just academically, but as individuals.”
Applications for the scholarship program are open from April 11 to May 15, 2026. Selected scholars will be announced on June 24, with classes beginning August 17, 2026.
