A sprawling public green space has taken shape inside one of Dubai’s growing residential districts, with Wasl Group inaugurating Central Park at its Wasl Gate development near Sheikh Zayed Road and Energy Metro Station in Jebel Ali.
Spanning 82,700 square metres, the park is positioned as one of the largest of its kind built within a housing community in the emirate, accessible to Wasl Gate residents and the general public alike.
The facility is equipped with jogging and cycling tracks, sports courts, a skate park, an amphitheatre lawn, picnic areas, and food truck spaces — a mix of amenities that reflects a broader push by Dubai’s urban planners to prioritise liveability alongside housing supply.

Wasl tied the project to Dubai Social Agenda 33, the government’s long-term framework for strengthening community wellbeing and quality of life. “As 2026 marks the Year of the Family, Central Park stands as a clear embodiment of our ongoing commitment to creating environments that foster meaningful connections and enrich everyday living,” the company said.
The park was built using environmentally sustainable materials, consistent with the UAE’s growing emphasis on greener construction practices.
Wasl Gate is among several master-planned districts that have emerged as Dubai’s population continues to expand, part of a development shift that increasingly centres on recreation and social infrastructure rather than housing alone. Wasl Group, which manages more than 60,000 residential and commercial units and over 1,000 buildings across Dubai, counts the project among its flagship community investments.
