Emirates Post has announced the launch of the Postal Portraits Photography Competition, open to all nationalities in the UAE aged 18 and above. This contest, running until September 30 next year, offers a monthly prize of Dh2,500 along with other giveaways.
The competition is aimed at capturing the vibrant postal experiences of the Emirates, reflecting its diverse cultural landscape. It welcomes submissions from both amateur and professional photographers. Participants are encouraged to submit photos that focus on various postal aspects, including activities, buildings, stamps, mail, mailboxes, letters, packages, vans, and postcards.
Photos submitted must be high-resolution, watermark-free, and minimally edited. Each contestant can submit up to three photos per month in color or black and white. These images should be posted on Instagram with the tag #PostalPortraits and must adhere to the specific quarterly themes:
- October–December 2023: Capturing the architecture and exteriors of Emirates Post buildings.
- January–March 2024: Depicting personal stories related to the post in the UAE.
April–June 2024: Moments around Emirates Post locations, excluding actual customers.
- July–September 2024: Creative concepts for Emirates Post stamps and postcards.
