Nabil Al Kindi, group CEO of Dubai South, framed the move in direct terms: “SMEs are at the heart of Dubai’s economic fabric, and supporting their continuity and growth remains a priority.”
Businesses operating out of Business Park, an office hub near Al Maktoum International Airport, stand to benefit from a newly announced support package targeting small and medium enterprises. Dubai South said the measures are designed to deliver immediate financial breathing room to the SME community within the development.
The package covers several forms of relief: rent-free periods tied to contract renewals, deferred payment arrangements, and the waiving of minor administrative penalties. Rental rates for qualifying tenants will also be held at current levels during eligible renewal windows.
Dubai South said the initiative is consistent with broader efforts across the emirate to protect economic stability and sustain business activity. Al Kindi added that the package reflects the organization’s commitment to “delivering value-driven solutions that align with the vision of our wise leadership to sustain economic momentum and further strengthen Dubai’s competitive business landscape.”
The relief measures are not fixed — Dubai South said they will be reviewed and adjusted over time as market conditions shift.
