Free parking will be available across Dubai’s public parking zones starting March 19, covering the first three days of the Eid Al Fitr holiday, the Roads and Transport Authority confirmed.
The waiver runs through the third day of Eid, with standard parking charges returning on the fourth day of the holiday period.
Multi-storey parking facilities are excluded from the exemption, the RTA noted, meaning paid rates remain in effect at those locations throughout the break.
Eid Al Fitr in the UAE begins Thursday, March 19, with public sector employees on holiday until Sunday, March 22, and private sector workers off until at least Saturday, March 21 — extended to Sunday if Ramadan completes its full 30 days.
