A younger Yulo is making his own mark on the international gymnastics circuit.
Karl Eldrew Yulo claimed his first World Cup gold medal in the men’s floor exercise at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup Series in Antalya, Turkey, posting a score of 14.100 in the final to top the eight-man field.
Ireland’s Eamon Montgomery finished second with 13.833, while Spain’s Rayderley Zapata took bronze at 13.333.
The 18-year-old had entered the final from fourth place after scoring 13.666 in the qualifying round.
Karl is the younger brother of Carlos Edriel Yulo, who won two gold medals at the Paris Olympics.
