PAL cancels all flights to Doha, Dubai, and Riyadh until March 17 amid Middle East tension

Doha, Dubai, and Riyadh will go without Philippine Airlines service for nearly a week more, with the flag carrier’s latest advisory listing cancellations on all three routes from March 11 through March 17, 2026.

The Riyadh and Dubai routes lose four flights each per day — PR 654/655 on the Manila-Riyadh roundtrip and PR 658/659 on Manila-Dubai — while the Doha corridor takes the longest hit, with PR 684 and PR 685 grounded on both directions daily through March 17, one day beyond the other two routes.

PAL issued the updated schedule as of 7:30 p.m. on March 11, citing “ongoing developments and in the interest of ensuring the safety of our passengers, crew and ground personnel” as the basis for the cancellations.

Passengers holding tickets on affected flights may rebook or request a full refund through PAL’s Flight Help Page or its customer support channels. The airline also urged travelers to verify their flight status through the PAL website, mobile app, or official social media before heading to the airport.

“PAL reiterates that safety remains our highest priority and appreciates the understanding of our passengers,” the airline said.
