A Catholic parish in Manila has formally announced the upcoming wedding of actress Bea Alonzo and Puregold Price Club President and Director Vincent Co, following months of the actress guarding details of her personal life.
St. Peter the Apostle Parish published the couple’s marriage banns during a Facebook livestream on Sunday, March 8. The document identified the groom as Ferdinand Vincent Pe Co and the bride under her legal name, Phylbert Angelli Escalante Ranollo. Under Catholic tradition, marriage banns serve as a public notice of an intended union, giving parishioners an opportunity to raise any legal or canonical objections before the ceremony proceeds.
The publication comes after Bea spent much of the past year deflecting attention from the relationship. When engagement rumors surfaced in September 2025, she declined to confirm or deny anything in an interview with 24 Oras.
“Alam mo, inuunahan ng mga tao ang lahat ng pangyayari sa buhay ko. I have nothing to clarify, and I want to keep things private. There’s nothing to say, actually. I’m very happy,” she said.
She also made clear at the time that fans should not expect any kind of public announcement about her love life. “Huwag na kayo maghintay kasi wala namang grand reveal. I want to focus on my personal life being private right now. Parang feeling ko, ang dami kong natutunan sa pinagdaanan ko sa buhay and I want to keep my personal stuff really private this time,” she stated.
A month earlier, in August 2025, Bea had acknowledged the relationship in a GMA Integrated News interview without offering much detail. “I think it’s very obvious that we are together,” she said, while adding that she preferred to shield it from public scrutiny. “We understand the curiosity, but I think… I don’t want to say people ruin beautiful things, but I think the most beautiful things are the ones kept private,” she remarked.
