Sharjah International Airport has partially reopened to air traffic as of March 2, 2026, with the airport authority confirming that services are being restored within a structured operational framework.
The resumption follows coordination with airlines and relevant government entities, the authority said in a statement distributed by Sharjah Media Bureau, with safety remaining the guiding priority throughout the process.
Travelers with upcoming departures are being directed to reach out to their carriers directly to verify flight timings before proceeding to the terminal, as the schedule remains defined and subject to the phased rollout.
The airport administration said it is working alongside all concerned authorities to maintain service efficiency and uninterrupted operations during the transition.
