Jason Derulo to lead after-show at 30th Dubai World Cup

A major pop act has been confirmed to close out race day festivities at the milestone 30th edition of the Dubai World Cup. Global recording artist Jason Derulo will take the stage for the official after-show at Meydan Racecourse on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

The American singer-songwriter, whose career spans multiple chart-topping releases, has sold more than 250 million singles globally and secured 14 platinum certifications in the United States. His catalogue includes widely recognised hits such as Whatcha Say, In My Head, Ridin’ Solo and the UK chart-topper Don’t Wanna Go Home, tracks that have helped define his mainstream success.

The performance announcement comes as Derulo continues promoting his latest project, The Last Dance (Part 1) under Create Music Group. A second instalment is scheduled for release later this year. The album features a reinterpretation of Avril Lavigne’s “Complicated” and is positioned as the closing chapter of the artist’s current musical era ahead of a new creative direction.

Derulo’s Dubai appearance coincides with his The Last Dance World Tour, which begins on January 29 and includes more than 25 arena shows across the United Kingdom and Europe.

Organisers say high-profile musical productions remain central to the Dubai World Cup’s identity, combining elite horse racing with large-scale live entertainment. Last year’s closing ceremony set multiple Guinness World Records, raising expectations for the anniversary staging in 2026.

Widely regarded as one of the most prominent fixtures on the international racing calendar, the Dubai World Cup draws global audiences with its blend of sport and spectacle.

Tickets are available through the Dubai Racing Club website. Hospitality packages, including Apron Views, provide concert access, while Royal Enclosure ticket holders receive Golden Circle entry. Golden Circle upgrades may be added to select hospitality and Apron Views tickets, though the option is not offered to general public ticket holders.
