Daniella, a Dubai-based student, has done it again—making history and bringing pride to both The Philippine School (TPS) Dubai and the UAE Filipino community and beyond.
Earlier this year, during the summer break, Daniella traveled to Romania to participate in a prestigious ballet summer camp in Bucharest. Her journey marked a groundbreaking milestone as she became the first Filipina to perform at the Bucharest National Opera during its gala night, sharing the stage with renowned European ballet artists.
This Christmas season, Daniella adds yet another remarkable achievement to her growing list of accomplishments. The TPS student has been cast in the professional production of the pantomime Cinderella, making her the first Filipina to be included in such a production.
Representing TPS-Dubai with pride, Daniella was selected as part of a highly competitive ensemble composed of students from various schools across Dubai. The production also features professional performers from the United Kingdom. Her inclusion highlights her versatility as a performer and reflects the strong arts foundation fostered by TPS, affirming her ability to carve a distinctive niche in stage theatre.
Cinderella is presented by Outside the Box Events and h2 Productions, the team behind more than 40 successful pantomimes across the UAE. The show will run from 17 to 29 December at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, with tickets available through Platinumlist.
