Leni Robredo entered Malacañang as vice president in 2016 with a declared net worth a little above P11 million, based on documents she submitted that year as a Camarines Sur representative. By the time she left national office in 2022, her wealth had risen to P15.5 million.
GMA Integrated News Research, which reviewed her Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth, reported the figures in a “24 Oras” segment by Maki Pulido.
The filings show that Robredo listed P27.5 million in assets when she stepped down, marking an increase of P9.6 million from the P17.9 million she declared at the start of her vice-presidential tenure. The documents identify 14 residential and agricultural parcels, three houses, four vehicles, and shares in Meralco and Rockwell Land among the properties she owned. Her cash on hand and in banks reached nearly P16.8 million.
She reported P12 million in liabilities, including loans.
During her time as vice president, Robredo was paid a monthly salary of P350,000 under Salary Grade 32. Over six years, that compensation would total P25 million if untouched.
After losing the 2022 presidential election to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Robredo returned to private life for a period before securing a new mandate as Naga City mayor in the 2025 polls.
