Filipino workers in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia will have direct access to key government services later this month as Philippine agencies prepare to open a two-day Serbisyo Caravan in Al Khobar. The initiative brings multiple offices under one roof to assist overseas workers who often struggle to process documents without traveling far or navigating multiple agencies.
Scheduled for November 21–22, 2025, the activity will operate from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the International Philippine School in Al Khobar (IPSA). The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) will lead the deployment, working jointly with the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, OWWA, and several partner agencies that regularly participate in nationwide caravans offering contract help, welfare services, and frontline support.
Organizers emphasized that appointments must be secured in advance through the official portal. They reminded attendees to complete their registration via caravan.dmw.gov.ph, where the “Register Now” button also directs users to sign up for OWWA ID and National ID processing. The caravan model has been widely used across the Middle East to make services more accessible to workers who cannot easily visit embassy offices.
Participants are advised to bring the exact documents needed for their intended transactions to avoid delays. Agencies also cautioned that some service desks may not be equipped with card terminals, urging those attending to bring enough cash to settle applicable fees.
