NAIA Terminal 1 unveils bigger, modern OFW Lounge with free perks

Overseas Filipino Workers traveling through NAIA Terminal 1 will soon have access to a larger and more modern OFW Lounge, the New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) announced on Friday, November 14.

“To our modern-day heroes, we have built you something even better!” the company said as it unveiled plans for the upgraded facility.

Now situated in a new location within the terminal, the expanded lounge will feature increased seating and a noticeably more relaxing environment. NNIC said the redesign focuses on comfort, convenience, and a sense of appreciation for OFWs who rely on the space during their airport stay.

The lounge will provide free meals, drinks, Wi-Fi, charging points, and secure lockers for luggage—amenities the company described as essential to making travel smoother and more comfortable for OFWs.

NNIC added that the project continues the same effort seen at Terminal 3’s OFW Lounge before it assumed full operations of NAIA in 2024. The company said the upgraded Terminal 1 facility is part of its commitment to “honor and serve our Bagong Bayani.”
