The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Dubai has released Advisory No. 27, announcing a special event for Filipino Domestic Workers in the Dubai and Northern Emirates region. The event is scheduled for 19 November 2023, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Shabab Al Ahli Sports Club, Al Nahda, Dubai.
Celebrating its second year of offering exclusive services to Filipino domestic workers, MWO Dubai will provide services such as Contract Verification, OWWA Membership, SSS Membership, and Pag-Ibig Fund Membership from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
In collaboration with the Filipino community, the event will also feature special activities, which will be available until 5:00 PM. Attendees can look forward to activities such as Palarong Pinoy 2023, a Karaoke Challenge, and a Raffle. Moreover, there will be provisions for free basic medical check-ups/consultations and free haircut/nail cleaning services.
Those interested in attending the event are urged to pre-register online via the provided link. Additionally, they are encouraged to confirm their registration through official email communication. Event participation is exclusively for Filipino domestic workers with valid domestic worker visas issued by Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
As a reminder, attendees are requested to bring two copies each of the complete documentary requirements to facilitate processing.
