Viral Paris burger brand Junk Smash Burgers opens first UAE branch in Dubai

The viral Paris- and London-based burger brand Junk Smash Burgers has officially opened its first UAE location at 25 Jump Street — Dubai’s newest licensed dining hub beside 25hours Hotel One Central. The restaurant is located at The Offices 5, One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre.

Founded by entrepreneur Majed Mansour and self-taught chef Wissem Ben Ammar, the brand has built a cult following across Europe for its “quality-first” take on smash burgers. Combining premium wagyu beef with soft brioche buns, Junk’s simple yet bold menu has redefined casual dining across its 17 existing branches in France and the UK. The Dubai launch marks its 18th global outlet and its first in the Middle East and North Africa region.

“With Dubai, we see an opportunity to bring our vision of premium yet accessible street food to one of the world’s most dynamic dining markets,” said Mansour. “Junk was created to strip burgers back to what really matters: quality ingredients, simple execution, and bold flavour. We believe that philosophy will resonate strongly with UAE consumers who are looking for authentic flavours.”

The new branch also introduces Puffy Cookies, a dessert concept born in Paris and inspired by New York-style baking, expanding the brand’s sweet offerings.

As the only burger joint among 25 Jump Street’s 12 curated dining concepts, Junk joins a line-up that includes Antika, Em Sherif Deli, Joe & The Juice, Lucylu, Le Trottoir de Paloma, Pepperoni, and others. The development is designed to blend casual gastronomy, nightlife, and entertainment within a licensed street-style setting — positioning it as one of Dubai’s most anticipated culinary destinations this season.
