An Emirati man tragically lost his life while another was injured in a severe accident after their pick-up truck crashed into a traffic sign in the Shamal area, near an intersection, as per Ras Al Khaimah Police. The unfortunate event was reported by the Arabic newspaper Al Khaleej.
According to Col Dr Mohammed Al Bahar, acting director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, the truck swerved near the intersection before colliding with the sign.
Immediately after receiving the accident report, an emergency team was dispatched to the scene. The injured were swiftly taken to a nearby hospital. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, the Emirati passenger succumbed to his grave injuries. The driver, however, is now in a stable condition.
