Emirates Skywards has launched one of the aviation industry’s largest prize campaigns, giving away a total of 25 million miles to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The global raffle, which began Thursday, runs for 25 days and is open to the programme’s 37 million members worldwide.
At the heart of the campaign is a raffle offering prizes ranging from 100,000 to 250,000 miles, with one lucky winner set to claim one million miles. Members can qualify by earning Skywards miles through Emirates, flydubai, or partner brands until October 20.
“25 years! We are thrilled to celebrate such a monumental milestone,” said Dr Nejib Ben Khedher, Divisional Senior Vice President of Emirates Skywards. “What better way to celebrate than to give back to our community with 25 days of nonstop surprises and offers?”
To mark the occasion, Emirates will unveil a commemorative aircraft livery featuring a silver design, which will fly to destinations across the world starting next month.
Members are also being offered 50 per cent bonus miles on Emirates and flydubai bookings, plus 25 per cent bonuses on partner airlines, shopping, and dining. Early October will see special activities at Dubai International Airport, including interactive quizzes, lounge access, and complimentary ice cream from branded Skywards trucks.
Since its launch in 2000 with just 76,000 members, the loyalty programme has grown to over 37 million members from 190+ countries, adding nearly 78,000 new sign-ups every week. It now processes over 120,000 daily transactions, with members redeeming almost 400 billion miles since inception.
Earlier this year, Emirates Skywards was recognised as the Best Global Airline Loyalty Program at the International Loyalty Awards 2025. It currently partners with more than 100 companies, giving members access to 1,400 destinations, 30,000 hotels, and 7,200 retail brands.
