Comedian and TV host Vice Ganda took center stage at the massive “Trillion Peso March” on Sunday, throwing a direct challenge to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to prove his commitment to fighting corruption.
Vice declared before the sea of protesters, his words drawing loud cheers.
The entertainer emphasized that Filipinos are not merely passive spectators but active stakeholders who have the right to demand accountability.
Vice Ganda, who earlier branded corruption as a “pagnanakaw ng pag-asa” or the theft of people’s hopes and dreams, said the public is watching closely—not out of admiration, but out of duty to ensure their taxes serve the people.
