A touching display of cultural love and musical appreciation went viral this week after Emirati-Filipino vlogger Fahed Alblooshi, better known as Emaratino Traveler, was captured passionately singing Dionela’s hit single Marilag in flawless Filipino at the artist’s concert at the Coca-Cola Arena Dubai.
Wearing the traditional kandora alongside fellow Arab influencer Bu Hamzah, Fahed lit up the massive crowd during Dionela’s The Grace World Tour performance in Dubai. The now-viral video, initially posted on TikTok by Emaratino Traveler and later reposted by Dionela himself, has already reached over 5.3 million views, resonating with fans across cultures and languages.
A proud moment for Filipino music
In the video, Fahed belts out “Marilag” with passion and clarity, to the amazement of both the local and Filipino audience. Dionela captioned the repost with “my boi,” showing his appreciation for the vlogger’s heartfelt performance and cultural pride.
