Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the UAE are being invited to take part in a pioneering financial literacy and investment event designed to help them secure their future beyond remittances.
The free seminar, titled “REAL ESTATE 101: Maging OFW Landlord – Secure Your Future While Working Abroad,” will be held on Saturday, September 20, at 6:00 PM at Hyatt Place Rigga, Dubai. Organized by Filipino Homes, the program is specifically crafted for Filipinos in Dubai and Abu Dhabi who want to start investing in Philippine real estate while still employed overseas.
The initiative highlights why OFWs should not wait until retirement to begin property investments. The session will show how buying and renting out property can:
-Generate passive income while still abroad
-Transform remittances into appreciating assets
-Provide an early retirement plan
-Ease the pressure of working abroad for decades
-Give Filipinos control over their finances instead of relying on others back home
The seminar covers a step-by-step guide to property buying for OFWs, insights into the rental business and property management, legal and financial considerations, and real-life success stories of Filipinos who started their real estate journey while working overseas.
