Cebu Pacific moves Naga and San Jose flights to Clark starting October 26

Cebu Pacific announced that beginning October 26, flights to Naga, Camarines Sur and San Jose, Occidental Mindoro operated by its subsidiary Cebgo will be transferred from Manila to Clark International Airport in Pampanga.

The airline explained that the adjustment follows the Department of Transportation’s (DOTr) Manila Slot Coordination Committee resolution, which directed the transfer of turboprop operations away from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2. This move, Cebu Pacific said, supports government efforts to ease congestion at the country’s main gateway and improve efficiency for passengers.

As a result of the shift, only one daily flight from Manila to Naga will remain. Cebu Pacific clarified that affected travelers have several options: they may rebook their flights free of charge within 30 days of the original schedule, convert their tickets into a travel fund for future bookings or add-ons such as baggage allowance, or request a full refund.

Earlier this year, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) also ordered the transfer of certain turboprop routes to Clark. These aircraft, typically with a 60-passenger capacity, are essential for connecting smaller regional airports such as those in Camiguin, Siargao, Masbate, Surigao, and Busuanga that cannot accommodate larger jets.

Cebu Pacific assured passengers that the changes are aimed at long-term convenience and at opening more opportunities for domestic connectivity.
