PAMANA: Filipino language and heritage celebrated at Sahara Centre Sharjah

Sharjah’s Sahara Centre came alive with color, music, and cultural pride as the Filipino community gathered for “PAMANA: A Celebration of Filipino Language and Heritage”, an event dedicated to honoring Buwan ng Wika (Language Month) and marking the Grand Launch of the Sahara Atrium Summer Festival.

Held at the East Atrium of Sahara Centre, the celebration brought together families, performers, and community leaders in a vibrant showcase of Filipino traditions. The program featured a colorful parade, stirring stage performances, and a fashion show that paid homage to Filipino creativity through cultural attire, blending heritage with contemporary expression.
