First Lady resumes teaching civil law at WVSU in Iloilo

First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos has returned to the classroom, beginning a new semester at West Visayas State University (WVSU) in Iloilo City.

In a social media post on Friday, she shared that last Wednesday marked her first day of the academic year, where she once again took on her role as a Civil Law Review professor.

Araneta-Marcos started teaching at WVSU in 2022, but her teaching career spans several other institutions. She has previously handled law courses at the Far Eastern University, Northwestern University, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Saint Louis University, and Mariano Marcos State University.

Her connection to Iloilo runs deep, as the city is also the hometown of her late father.
