Vice Ganda has sparked online debate after making a satirical jab at former president Rodrigo Duterte during the opening night of the Super Diva concert.
In one segment, the comedian spoofed a popular TikTok audio, referencing Duterte’s controversial “Jet Ski promise,” mentioning Diehard Duterte Supporters (DDS), and ending with an impersonation of the former leader — a bit that drew loud laughter from the audience.
However, not everyone was amused. A Facebook user identifying as a Davaoeño publicly urged the City Government of Davao to declare Vice Ganda persona non grata. “As a Davaoeño, I am appealing to the City Government of Davao to declare Vice Ganda a persona non grata in Davao City. Please lang!😤” the post read.
