Emirates lists 136 global job openings, 94 in UAE alone as of July 25

The Emirates Group has taken its first major step in a sweeping global recruitment campaign by posting 136 job openings across 22 countries — with a staggering 94 of those roles based in the UAE — as of July 25, Gulf News reported.

This development follows the company’s earlier announcement that it plans to hire over 17,300 professionals this year across 350 unique roles. The vacancies span a wide range of departments, including cabin crew, pilots, IT, engineering, commercial, customer services, and more.

Among the international locations where opportunities are currently available are the United States, Brazil, India, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, and Japan. However, the UAE remains the primary focus, housing nearly 70% of all listed roles at this stage.

In addition to online listings, Emirates is set to conduct more than 2,100 open days and recruitment events across 150 cities, including Dubai-based drives aimed at attracting local talent and fresh graduates.

“We’re seeking world-class talent to fuel our bold ambition, redefine the future of aviation, and continue our commitment and culture of innovation and excellence,” said Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group.

According to Gulf News, since 2022 the company has already onboarded more than 41,000 employees, with nearly 27,000 filling critical operational roles. The Emirates Group’s workforce now stands at around 121,000 globally.

Meanwhile, India has three roles currently open — in Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai — with application deadlines ranging from July 28 to September 30.

The hiring surge coincides with Emirates’ expansion of its global network. July saw the launch of Airbus A350 services to Dammam and Muscat, and the rollout of premium economy to Kolkata. Other upcoming milestones include new or additional services to Madrid, Dublin, Mauritius, and a notable return to Damascus after a 12-year hiatus.
