As the UAE battles intense summer temperatures nearing 50ºC, Ajman Police stepped up with a simple yet heartwarming gesture: giving out cold refreshments to labourers and passersby.
In recent days, officers were seen distributing chilled water, juice, laban, and even small cups of ice cream to workers in labour communities. Residents who happened to be in the area also received the cool treats.
The initiative is part of the authority’s ongoing commitment to community welfare, especially during extreme weather conditions. It echoes their 2023 campaign, ‘We Come to You, Our Summer is Cool’, where they visited various work sites to uplift and support outdoor labourers during the hot months.
