Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced an extension of Metro operating hours on Sunday, July 20, to support attendees of the Global Encounters Festival 2025 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
To accommodate the expected increase in footfall, the RTA confirmed that Metro services will run until 1am, giving festivalgoers extra time to travel with ease.
The Global Encounters Festival is a large-scale celebration of arts and athletics spearheaded by the Ismaili Muslim community. The event brings together global participants from the Jamat to showcase excellence in creativity and sportsmanship.
