A wide array of Philippine government services will be brought directly to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in the UAE through the upcoming Bagong Bayani ng Mundo: OFW Serbisyo Caravan, scheduled on August 3, 2025, at Exhibition Hall 8 of the Dubai World Trade Center.
In an official advisory issued by the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) Dubai, the inter-agency initiative led by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) aims to reintroduce various government programs in a single, accessible venue for OFWs and their families. The caravan will run from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and no pre-registration is required.
The caravan will feature services from multiple agencies, including:
Philippine Consulate General – Dubai: Consular services
Migrant Workers Office – Dubai: Contract verification and Assistance to Nationals (ATN)
Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA): Membership, e-card issuance, WAP application, and welfare assistance
Department of Trade and Industry – PTIC Dubai: Franchising, financial literacy programs, and loan assistance via SB Corp

PhilHealth services, however, will be offered earlier from July 28 to 30, 2025, at the MWO Dubai office from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and will require pre-registration, with details to be announced in the coming days. Services include registration, data amendment, PIN issuance, and Konsulta registration.
While First Lady Liza Marcos will not be present during the caravan, Labor Attaché John Rio Bautista confirmed with The Global Filipino Magazine that Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncy will attend the event for the Marilag Awards.
The event is conducted in collaboration with the Filipino Social Club (FilSoc), and will include not only services but also elements of entertainment, according to Jeanette Mendoza, OIC-Assistant Labor Attaché of MWO Dubai.
