Online contract verification in UAE now live, but only for 200 OFWs per day

Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) in the United Arab Emirates can now verify their employment contracts online, following the pilot launch of a digital system rolled out by the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) starting today.

In a bid to simplify the process, the DMW announced the new platform will allow OFWs to submit their contract verification applications “wherever they are” without the need to visit the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Dubai.

“This fast, secure and hassle-free system will provide an option for OFWs to apply for contract verification wherever they are,” the DMW said in a statement.

The system—developed in partnership with DataFlow Group—can be accessed through dmw.dataflowgroup.com. During the initial phase, up to 200 applications will be accepted daily from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., with a possibility of expanding this capacity depending on the availability of evaluators.

Verified contracts will be accessible within three days through the portal at portal.dmw.gov.ph, along with the worker’s Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC).

For those with urgent travel plans, the DMW clarified that manual contract verification remains available at the MWO-Dubai office, as long as it is done one working day before departure.

The department said the pilot run will last 30 days, after which a full assessment will be conducted to determine the program’s feasibility for permanent implementation.

In a separate development, the DMW assured continued support for OFWs in Saudi Arabia. Secretary Hans Cacdac recently met with Filipino communities in Riyadh, Al Khobar, and Jeddah, and visited distressed OFWs housed at Bahay Kalinga. The agency committed to ensuring their immediate repatriation and sustained assistance.
