As temperatures rise across Dubai, the city’s beloved “Al Freej Fridge” campaign is back—bigger and more impactful than ever. Organizers are aiming to distribute two million bottles of cold water, juice, and frozen treats to thousands of outdoor workers braving the summer heat.
Targeting delivery riders, street cleaners, construction workers, and landscapers, the initiative runs until August 23 and ensures that these essential workers stay hydrated and protected. Refrigerated trucks are dispatched across the city to bring cold drinks directly to job sites, while fixed fridges in workers’ accommodations are constantly restocked with refreshments.
Launched by Ferjan Dubai with backing from the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), the campaign reflects a growing community spirit. Suqia UAE supplies bottled water, while the UAE Food Bank contributes logistical support and warehouse access.
