Renowned Filipino educator, entrepreneur, and author Dr. Carl E. Balita launched his latest motivational book Standing to Outstanding: A Framework for Meaningful Personal Branding in front of an engaged crowd of Filipino community leaders in the UAE on the evening of June 2, 2025.
Held at Max’s Restaurant in BurJuman, the event was organized in collaboration with The Global Filipino Magazine and gathered distinguished personalities from various Filipino organizations in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. The night featured a meet-and-greet, a book signing session, and a heartfelt conversation with Dr. Balita, who took the audience through the essence of his new work.
The book, co-authored with Atty. Lyca Balita and Mr. Adrian Tabalanza, introduces a transformative framework for personal branding that blends practical tools with classical philosophy. Inspired by the teachings of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, it encourages readers to lead a life rooted in reason, purpose, and moral virtue—elements the authors believe are often overlooked in today’s fast-paced world.
Dr. Balita, who is also the founder of the Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC) and the recipient of the 2024 Outstanding Filipino (TOFIL) Award for Education, emphasized that self-realization and authenticity are at the core of true success.
