Authorities in Saudi Arabia have apprehended three expatriates for their alleged involvement in immoral activities at a body care and relaxation center in Riyadh, according to a statement from the General Directorate of Public Security.
The suspects have been turned over to public prosecution, and the massage establishment where the alleged violations took place is now facing municipal penalties.
The arrests were carried out by the Riyadh region police in collaboration with the General Department for Community Security and Combating Human Trafficking, a division recently established to strengthen the country’s fight against crimes that threaten public morals and individual dignity.
This latest case follows a series of similar incidents. In February, four other expatriates were detained in Riyadh under similar circumstances, while earlier that month, five individuals were arrested in Jeddah for engaging in activities deemed contrary to public morals.
In a separate operation in Al Qassim, police also arrested three expatriates—including one man and two women—on charges related to prostitution.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior emphasized that the General Department for Community Security and Combating Human Trafficking was formed to address crimes infringing on personal rights, freedom, and dignity, in accordance with Islamic Sharia and national law.
