Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) has introduced free high-speed wireless internet on all public buses, offering passengers seamless connectivity during their commutes. This new service covers both intra-city and inter-city routes, making travel more convenient and productive for riders.
Eng. Ismail Hassan Al Balooshi, Director General of RAKTA, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the authority’s mission to enhance the public transport system and promote digital transformation. “By offering free internet onboard buses, we aim to enhance mobility efficiency and provide integrated digital services that contribute to improving the quality of life in the emirate,” Al Balooshi said.
The WiFi service allows passengers to browse the internet, check emails, and perform daily tasks while on the move. RAKTA has assured that the service will be continuously monitored and upgraded to maintain high-quality connectivity, ensuring a smooth digital experience for all users.
