Jackie Forster stirred conversations online once again after posting a series of cryptic quotes on her Instagram Stories, just days after speaking out in defense of her son, basketball player Kobe Paras.
In her latest post on April 30, the former actress shared a quote about personal boundaries, which read: “You don’t lose real friends, real opportunities or real relationships when you start standing up for your family and setting clear boundaries.” The message continued by noting that what gets lost instead are “abusers, manipulators, narcissists, control freaks, attention seekers and mental-health destroying leeches.”
The post came shortly after Forster defended her son amid backlash he received following his breakup with actress Kyline Alcantara. She previously claimed that Alcantara was abusive towards Kobe and accused the actress of playing with his mental health. Forster also revealed that Kobe once lived with Alcantara’s family and allegedly had troubling experiences with her parents.
While Alcantara has remained silent, her camp — including her brother and close friends — denied Forster’s claims, asserting that the actress was never abusive or manipulative. Her talent agency, Sparkle GMA Artist Center, also issued a statement saying that Alcantara wishes to move forward from the controversy, choosing silence “to keep her peace and maintain the respect for the people who have been part of her life.”
