UAE’s gifted performers made their nation proud at the 26th annual World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) held in California, scooping an impressive array of medals in both Junior and Senior categories.
WCOPA UAE took to Instagram to celebrate the victorious moment, posting a photograph of the jubilant delegates showcasing their well-deserved medals. The post was aptly captioned, “UPDATE from Hollywood USA. To God be the glory! All the entries in Junior and Senior got medals.”
Among the remarkable finalists were:
- Ruhann Hiranandani, a semi-finalist who clinched Gold in Vocals with Self Accompaniment Pop and a Bronze in Pop.
- Chloe Sara Dzousa, a finalist, shone bright with Gold awards in Vocals Self Accompaniment in Pop and Opera. She also secured Silver in Pop and Bronze in Classical Piano.
- Rex Carvalho impressed the judges, securing two Silver medals in Rock and Pop categories.
- Santino Antonini bagged Silver in Classical and two Bronze medals in Jazz and Open categories.
- Jairamarie Ysabel Carranza, another semi-finalist, bagged Gold in Gospel and three Silver medals in Pop, Broadway, and Opera.
