Filipino students in Saudi receive free dental check-ups and career guidance

Rafa Medical Center continues to extend its commitment to community health by reaching out to Filipino schools in the Eastern Province. With a strong dedication to both medical care and education, Rafa has initiated a series of outreach programs aimed at promoting dental health, career awareness, and student engagement in the medical field.

The first leg of this outreach began at the International Philippine School in Al Khobar (IPSA) with a Free Dental Camp. Organized in collaboration with the school administration, the event provided students with free dental check-ups, oral hygiene education, and consultations with the center’s pediatric dentist Dr. Madhura Mundada. This initiative not only helped students gain access to essential dental services but also raised awareness about the importance of oral hygiene in overall well-being.

Beyond providing medical services, Rafa Medical Center also recognizes the importance of inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals. A group of Al Majd International School students with a keen interest in medicine recently visited Rafa Medical Center for a tour and short talk about careers in the medical field. During their visit, the students had the opportunity to explore various medical departments, interact with healthcare professionals, and gain firsthand insights into the daily operations of a medical facility. The highlight of the tour was a special talk by Dr. Anette Neri, a Filipino doctor at Rafa Medical Center. Dr. Neri shared her experiences as a medical practitioner, offering valuable advice to aspiring young Filipinos who dream of pursuing careers in healthcare.
