Dubai has officially opened a new mosque in Dubai Marina just in time for the holy month of Ramadan. The newly inaugurated Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Mosque can accommodate up to 1,647 worshippers, including 1,397 men and 250 women.
According to the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, the mosque’s design takes inspiration from Ottoman architecture and is equipped with modern facilities to provide comfort for visitors. Spanning over 5,000 square meters, it features prayer halls, a courtyard, ablution areas, parking spaces, and designated areas for people of determination.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum led the inauguration ceremony. Officials highlighted that the mosque represents Dubai’s commitment to developing religious spaces that meet the needs of its growing and diverse community.
