Dubai RTA announces 200 job vacancies

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is opening up 200 job vacancies for UAE nationals in various scientific and engineering fields.

The announcement comes ahead of the Ru’ya – Careers UAE Redefined 2023 event scheduled to take place from September 19 to 21 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Prospective applicants have the option to register online or attend in-person interviews during the three-day job fair, which expects to attract over 15,000 job seekers.

RTA aims to build a database of qualified Emirati graduates and talents ready to cultivate new professional skills and work practices.

Athari Mohammed, the director of human resources and development at RTA, emphasized their annual participation in the job fair, highlighting their dedication to the Emiratisation strategy.

The strategy focuses on nurturing fresh university graduates and experienced Emirati leaders to promote national talent through continuous learning and training.

The available positions span several specializations, including engineering, data science, urban planning, IT security, and roles in rail and transportation sectors.

Applicants can enter their details on tablets at RTA’s booth or opt for face-to-face consultations with RTA’s Human Resources and Development Department specialists.

In alignment with the Emiratisation strategy, RTA commits to fostering a work culture encapsulated with innovation, precision in task execution, and adhering to international best practices in human development.

Adding a significant feature to this year’s event is the ‘Empower Her’ zone, a dedicated space for female job hunters offering workshops and mentoring sessions to address the unique challenges women face in the workforce.

Over 100 leading companies will be scouting for Emirati talents during the event.
