Jellie Aw recounts terrifying attack by fiancé, vows to hold him accountable

Vlogger and disc jockey Jellie Aw has expressed her willingness to forgive her fiancé, who allegedly assaulted her, but insists that he must face the consequences of his actions.

“Kaya ko po siyang patawarin pero gusto ko po pagbayaran niya ‘yung ginawa sa akin para hindi na niya magawa sa mga ibang babae pa,” she said in a report by 24 Oras.

The incident reportedly took place last Wednesday while the couple was on the expressway. According to Jellie, her fiancé pulled her hair while driving and punched her, leaving her with a tiny blood clot in her eye, a chipped tooth, and a bruised upper lip.

“Sobrang seloso po kasi, parang maliit na bagay po pinagseselosan niya,” she added.

Jellie recounted that upon arriving in Angeles, Pampanga, she found an opportunity to seek help when their vehicle’s boom failed to lift. Her fiancé fled the scene, boarding a bus to escape.

She has since filed a complaint with the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), which is now working to locate and apprehend the suspect.

“Kung suwe-suwertehin tayo, within the day, makukuha natin ‘yung boyfriend niya para mapanagot sa kasalanan na ginawa niya,” said NBI director Jaime Santiago.

Authorities have also examined Jellie’s vehicle to gather evidence. Meanwhile, the NBI urged the suspect to surrender.

“So kung sa subject natin, kung naririnig mo ito, maganda na makipag-ugnayan na lang sa amin, sumuko dito para makakabawas pa ‘yon sa kinakaharap na kaso,” said Yehlen Agus, NBI VAWCD chief.
