DMW strengthens global labor ties at Future of Work Forum in Dubai

The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), led by Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac, took part in the Future of Work Forum at the World Governments Summit 2025 in Dubai, UAE, on February 11.

The DMW’s participation aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to strengthen bilateral labor relations and ensure better opportunities and protections for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

The forum tackled key topics such as workforce adaptability, economic shifts, wage policies, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the global labor market. These discussions are closely linked to the DMW’s efforts in enhancing OFW skills development and safeguarding their rights.

The World Governments Summit 2025 is a four-day global event bringing together experts, leaders, and policymakers to discuss pressing issues and shape strategies for future progress.
