Filipino high school students now have the opportunity to pursue their studies in Singapore through a four-year scholarship program offered by the Singaporean government.
According to a Balitanghali report on Tuesday, the ASEAN scholarship is available to students entering Grade 9 and above, providing them with a pathway to further education and international opportunities.
The scholarship covers not only tuition fees but also allowances, accommodation, examination fees, airfare, medical benefits, and insurance, ensuring comprehensive support for recipients.
In 2024, 19 Filipino students were awarded the scholarship, underscoring the program’s commitment to nurturing young talent from the Philippines.
