Mark Herras has broken his silence after a video of him dancing at a gay bar gained traction online, stressing that his main priority is supporting his family.
In an interview on 24 Oras, Herras said he has always been open about his career mindset, making it clear that he is not after fame but rather financial stability for his growing family.
“I’ve always been vocal about this—I just want to provide for my family, especially now that I’m about to have two kids,” he said.
Herras added that he is willing to take on different jobs as long as they offer fair compensation, align with his values, and are legal. He also shared that he is unfazed by the criticisms being thrown his way.
Speaking on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the actor clarified that his gig at the gay bar was a simple hip-hop dance performance and that his wife, Nicole Donesa, was fully aware of it.
“I only entered the venue when it was almost my turn to perform. I stayed in my car most of the time before heading straight to the backstage,” he explained.
Herras, who first gained fame as the StarStruck Ultimate Male Survivor in 2003, remains focused on securing opportunities that allow him to provide for his family.
