President Sheikh Mohamed has extended his well wishes to those marking the Lunar New Year in the UAE and across the world.
“May this year bring peace, prosperity, and joy to you and your loved ones,” he shared in a social media post.
The UAE ushered in the Year of the Snake with grand festivities, including traditional folk performances and a symbolic parade featuring 60 new energy vehicles traveling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi.
Festivities took center stage at Dubai Equestrian Club and Al Marmoom Desert, where spectators enjoyed martial arts showcases, lion dances, and a traditional Khaleeji firqa performance.
In Chinese astrology, those born in the Year of the Snake are believed to possess wisdom, patience, and good fortune. The Lunar New Year, also known as the Chinese New Year or Spring Festival, marks the beginning of a season of renewal and hope.
