Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac administered the oath of office to 37 newly appointed officers and personnel of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) on December 23, 2024, at the agency’s central office in Mandaluyong City.
In his address, Secretary Cacdac called on the new appointees to dedicate their efforts to serving overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families. He emphasized the importance of their role in contributing to the social and economic initiatives of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s administration. He also urged them to maintain the highest standards of integrity in public service.
The hybrid ceremony was attended by senior DMW officials, with 20 personnel taking their oath on-site and 17 joining remotely from various regional and overseas posts.
