Fresh controversies surround businessman Philip Laude after a woman identified as “Precious Larra Su” uploaded screenshots allegedly showing their intimate conversations on her now-deleted Instagram account. The screenshots, which netizens claim suggest a romantic affair, have gone viral on social media platforms, especially on X and Reddit.
The messages purportedly show Laude expressing dissatisfaction with his marriage to his wife, socialite and vlogger Small Laude, and professing love for Precious. Some screenshots suggest that Laude was frustrated with his wife for allegedly undervaluing him, leading to his desire for separation.
Netizens, however, are divided. While some believe the scandal could snowball due to Laude’s prominence in the business world, others dismissed the screenshots as fake. Critics pointed to the informal tone and Tagalog composition of the messages, which they argue are uncharacteristic of someone from Laude’s elite background.
“Parang hindi naman kapanipaniwala to, parang jejemon naman magsalita si Philip,” one netizen commented, referring to the casual and slang-filled text style.
Adding fuel to the fire, a 2022 vlog by Small resurfaced, where viewers claim to have spotted the alleged mistress dining at the same table with the Laude family. Meanwhile, older photos of Precious with actor-politician Richard Gomez and his daughter Juliana have also emerged but remain unrelated to the current issue.
Neither Philip nor Small Laude has issued statements addressing the allegations. The original Instagram post by Precious has been deleted, and her account is no longer accessible, but screenshots continue to circulate.
