Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s grandson makes history at Sandhurst graduation

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Deputy Prime Minister, attended the graduation ceremony of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mohammed Al Maktoum at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the UK.

Sheikh Mohammed made history as the first Emirati to win both the International Sword and the International Award at Sandhurst. The International Sword recognizes the best international cadet for exceptional performance, leadership, and discipline, while the International Award honors the highest overall results in military, academic, and practical studies.

Sheikh Hamdan expressed his pride in the young cadet’s achievements, sharing his congratulations on social media: “We are all immensely proud of Mohammed. Congratulations to him on these remarkable achievements.”

During the ceremony, Sheikh Hamdan met other Emirati cadets at Sandhurst and praised their dedication, highlighting their role in representing the UAE abroad.

Sandhurst is globally recognized for producing elite military leaders, and Sheikh Mohammed’s accomplishments set a new benchmark for Emirati cadets aspiring to serve their nation with distinction.
