Cop caught with colleague’s wife killed, dismembered, and buried in shocking crime

A police executive master sergeant was killed and dismembered by a fellow officer after being caught in an intimate situation with the suspect’s wife in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City. The crime, which occurred on November 28, was confirmed by Police Major Hazel Asilo, public information officer of the Southern Police District, during a televised interview.

The suspect, a police lieutenant colonel, later admitted to the crime and provided an affidavit detailing the incident. According to Asilo, the victim’s body was discovered on December 5, buried in the male suspect’s ancestral home in Baguio City.

Investigators revealed that the suspect shot the victim after finding him in a compromising position with the suspect’s wife, also a police executive master sergeant. The male officer then used a hacksaw to dismember the victim and transported the remains to Baguio City using a pickup truck.

The victim had been reported missing, with family members and social media posts seeking help to locate him. It was the victim’s child who traced his last known location to Camp Bagong Diwa, leading authorities to investigate further.

Both the suspect and his wife are now in police custody, with murder and conspiracy charges being considered against them. The hacksaw used in the crime is still being searched, and forensic reports are awaited to determine the number of gunshots the victim sustained. The suspect’s vehicle has also been impounded for investigation.

Police are continuing to probe the incident, including the possible role of the suspect’s wife in the crime.
