The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a warning early Tuesday, alerting drivers to poor visibility due to fog formation in certain areas. A red alert was sent out, emphasizing that horizontal visibility may further decline in internal and coastal regions until 9:30 a.m.
While foggy conditions were anticipated, most residents across the UAE can expect fair to partly cloudy weather throughout the day. Eastern regions might also see some convective cloud formations.
The temperature is forecasted to drop to 12ºC in mountainous areas and could reach up to 33ºC in internal regions. Despite the lower temperatures, NCM noted that humidity will rise at night and into Wednesday morning, potentially causing fog or mist, particularly in western areas. The Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to remain relatively calm.
