An Albay resident experienced a mix of joy and sadness when she discovered that her late cat was captured on Google Maps, lounging in his favorite spot. Justine Alzaga, the cat’s owner, shared that her beloved pet, Ulap, was only three years old when he unexpectedly passed away on October 5, 2024.
In an interview, Alzaga expressed how seeing Ulap’s photo evoked both happiness and grief. “It felt like he was still there, but he’s not. That was really his usual spot,” she said.
Alzaga treasures the image as one of the most valuable memories she has of her pet. “I’m truly glad I found him there,” she added.
